Classical Guitar Tuition in the Sheffield and Matlock Areas

Ever wished that you could play the guitar yourself?

As well as playing the guitar, Derek and Jonathan are also professional guitar teachers. If you would like to study the guitar, both Jonathan and Derek can offer tuition.

Tuition is taught to a high standard ranging from a complete beginner to grade 8 and above. The lessons are tailor made in order to suit your needs. We offer tuition from the age of 7 to adults. We teach many different types of people from all walks of life, some wish to study seriously and do all the grades. Where as, others, wish to just simply play for pleasure. What ever your needs are, we can accommodate.

Derek studied guitar at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He also plays the Bass guitar and has a wide knowledge of both Classical and Contemporary styles. Derek is an accredited teacher with both Derbyshire and Sheffield Music Services.

Jonathan is a licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music. He has been teaching the guitar since the late 1970s and has taught both privately and as an accredited teacher in Derbyshire Schools.
